After many summers on Nantucket as a girl, its cobblestones and colorful catboats ensnared my heart and imagination. Its island beauty, architectural mix and seafaring history inspired this panorama of the past.

Time lives on in the Jethro Coffin House, the Old Mill, antique Capes,
and three lighthouses. The elegant brick residence and white church with its clock tower steeple mark Nantucket's glory days as a rich whaling power. But one lucky fellow has escaped to breach in the distance!

Citizens garden, shop, sail, and picnic. We hear the old sea captain's rocker creaking. Children play by the graves of earlier inhabitants in the circle of life which I celebrate here.

This print was created using special fade-resistant, soy-based inks on archival paper. The paper size is 20" x 24" and fits easily into a ready-made frame. The print is not framed or matted and will be shipped well-packaged in a sturdy tube by U.S. Mail.
